The CASCADE project focuses on evaluating treatment technologies to remove PFAS and Microplastics from wastewater in textile companies and treatment plants. Its goal is to reduce micropollutant discharge, enabling reuse of treated wastewater and preventing pollutants from re-entering the production system. The project aims to address the environmental impact of these persistent substances and microplastics, with a focus on ecotoxicological assessment and sustainable wastewater management.
